1.- Use it in a reasonable way. We don't eat the same thing every day or go to the movies or eat a special dinner in a restaurant, right? 3.- Try not to let your child play alone on the tablet. Like any parent, I am sure that you will try to do as many things as possible with your child. Try to make this one of them. This way you will understand that the activity is guided. The tablet can only serve in this sense when it has been previously communicated that if it worked or did something correctly it would have it as prize. In the rest of the cases it must be a device that incentivize and promote knowledge diverse through play, stimulating the different areas of language, cognition and motor skills necessary and always, if possible, guided by the adult. Do not leave your child alone for too long playing the tablet or then it will be difficult to put it down when the time comes.

4- Set a certain time to play. The healthiest thing is that you can play several times a week for 30 to 45 minutes. It's like watching a chapter of a favorite series in which we don't want to be disturbed. However, if we see more than two or three chapters of that series, what would we think of ourselves?

5- Define if it is a prize or it is time to work with the tablet. Communicate it to your child, even visually if necessary: ​​"Today we are both going to work with the tablet, I'll help you", or, "If you work quietly, or help me at home, then you can play a little on the tablet." There are times for everything. Still, don't forget to reinforce yourself socially with a good hug.

6.- Look for games that are interesting. New technologies tend to videos and in the end, everything ends up becoming a portable television. There are hundreds of pages that suggest Educational games for children with disabilities or autism. Most of them are attractive, educational and functional. Do not hesitate to spend 3 or 4 euros to buy a game if you think it can be useful for your child. But use it correctly so that it is not misused.

7- Teach your child to play alone with a self-control token. If the game consists, for example, of minigames with farm animals, draw the farm animals on a piece of paper. When you finish playing with each of them you will have to cross out each of the pictures as well. Once the minigames are over, take some time to talk about it with simple questions, what have you done with the cow? How about the duck puzzle?

8- If more people at home play the tablet at the same time, do a shift panel. First the child, then his brother, then the grandfather… .If you can, make a panel with his photos and with an arrow that is oriented to the person who touches him.

9- Activate parental control using it strategically. Depending on which tablet you can even order it to turn off when it has been on for a while.

10.- Hug your child longer than the tablet. Some of our kids come to refer to technological gadgets because they spend more time with them than with their parents. Let's not forget that we are the reference at all times.
